Textile Designer
Corrie E. Allen graduated from SUNYCollege at Buffalo in textile design.
After working in several hourly wage jobs in the Big Apple, she found employment in her field for a company in Manhattan where she had an opportunity to develop her skills as a textile designer even created her own unique designs for the company.
Today, Corrie, age 26, is in her second salary position as a textile designer with greater responsibilities.
In an environment where so many college graduates struggle for many years in jobs unrelated to their college majors, kudos for Corrie for following her dreams and finding a place for herself in the competitive world of textile design in New York City.
