I posted on the Especially for Women in Buffalo, New York Blog last November surprised it was one year ago.
I started several blogs after being wrongfully laid-off from my job as a tenured teacher in the Buffalo City School District.
These blogs provided an outlet sustained me throughout the lay-off period, lasting six years from 2005 through 2011.
Then, the school board voted to recall the attendance faculty to our jobs fall 2011.
I had attended a meeting when they voted to reinstate us despite former Superintendent of School Dr. James Williams resistance.
He ignorantly called the faculty a band aid on cancer during an interview in the Challenger newspaper.
Williams stepped down rather than resign after six turbulent years in the district.
Yet, he left with a parachute—-life time health care benefits, a portion of his salary and paid consultant earning additional money for advising the new superintendent from afar.
So during the lay-off, I blogged daily created several blogs with different themes such as the Especially for Women in Buffalo New York Blog.
I find this time period in my life today the most challenging since several episodes happened catapulting me to do what I do best such as blogging.
Since Blogging is writing, it allows for me to post either personal stories or what is trending in the social media world.
I plan to blog about many things especially as it relates to the
Me Too movement, the assault, sexual abuse and exploitation of women
