A Heroine: Cariol Holloman Horne, birthday wishes

Officer Cariol Holloman Horne, outside hearing room, Buffalo Police Headquarters with Ken Nixon & A. Pendergrass

Imagine after 20 years in the Buffalo Police Department almost nearing retirement being wrongfully fired from your job unable to collect a pension cast out into the street with no other means of supporting a family.  And it happened to Cariol Holloman Horne, a former Buffalo Police Officer.

She’s turning a bit older, wiser and better. To many she is still Officer Cariol Holloman Horne who unjustly lost her patrolwoman job in a series of wrongful accusations.

But she is a strong woman resolute in her convictions, surviving when others would have broken down and given up.   The incident happened four years ago on November 6, 2008 when Office Cariol Horne attempted to “prevent a suspect from being choked to death by another officer as she explained.  (  Lt. Officer Greg Kwiatkowski placed on paid suspension  from the Buffalo Police for assaulting another police officer this year).

All honors and praises to this wonderful African-American woman, mother and still Officer Horne  to those who stood by her and continue to support her.  Happy Birthday .

birthday wishes to the beautiful Cariol Holloman Horne
